About National SOAR Plus! Trainings
Parkwyn Training & Consulting (PTC) offers a new approach to SOAR training. Through a streamlined ‘Six Phase’ process, trainees will gain a deep understanding of the SOAR model of SSI/SSDI application assistance in an accessible and engaging format.
These instructor-led, interactive trainings take attendees step‑by‑step through the process of completing and submitting SOAR-assisted SSI/SSDI applications. Hands‑on activities, group discussions, and dedicated time for Q&As reinforce key concepts.
Follow-up connection and support bridge the gap between training and implementation, empowering providers to complete SOAR-assisted applications and navigate challenges with confidence.
Intended Audience
This training is 2 days of fairly intensive instruction. It is intended for direct service providers who will utilize what they learn to assist individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness to apply for SSI/SSDI. Attendees must attend both days of training to receive a Certificate of Completion. Active participation is expected.
